Flash

Adobe Flash

Flash is what brought content like video, animation, and other stuff, to work on a computer or browser. It began in the 1990s and it was exciting. Why? Because cartoons and games were available on computers and browsers. However, it's value has been decreasing ever since HTML5 and mobiles came about.

Author's General Conclusions

The author, Keith Collins, believes that Adobe Flash should be saved. He feels this way because Flash can animate or make interactive vector graphics, unlike HTML5 where it needs JavaScript and CSS to be able to do that.

Applications/Implications

To me as a beginner of web designing, I like Flash. It would make a website even more cooler. You can make the buttons move or stuff like that instead of just changing the color. I would really like it I think.

What I Don't Understand

However, I don't understand why Flash can't format to like mobile devices, or why it can't have what HTML5 has that Flash doesn't have.

Thoughts & Conclusions

Overall, I think Flash shouldn't die. I think it's important. I don't know much, but that's what I think. Hopefully in the future it doesn't die, but improve.

Below is the article that I was talking about:
