E-Comm 6 Shot System

6 Shot System - This technique is used in videos that can create a visual story. To get a view of the important aspects and details for your subject or character. But remember, in these shots you use the rule of thirds.

Extra Wide Shot:
The extra wide shot shows the surroundings or background. It's the establishing shot.

Wide shot:
This is a little more closer than the extra wide shot and it shows the person from head to toe.

Medium Shot:
The medium shot is showing your subject from the waist up.

Extreme Close-up:
This shot is really close and tight that shows a really zoomed in photo of any feature.

Close-up:
In this shot, you wanna get a close-up of the face basically. You wanna catch the emotion of the character's face to make your shots interesting and to get a view of the character or subject.

Over the Shoulder:
Over the shoulder is showing what your character/subject is doing and letting the viewer being able to see it.
