Photoshop
In Graphic Design we practiced on how to use the tools and when to use them in Photoshop. I learned how and when to use -
Content Aware Fill
In this photo there was a stool on the bottom left. So I removed the stool by using the marquee tool and then content aware fill.
Here there was these ugly little things and a rusty thing on the walls. I hid them using the same tool as above.
Here there was a logo on the the surfboard and the goal was to remove the logo. I used the lasso tool tightly around the logo, and then I use content aware fill.
On this picture I removed the logo using content aware fill.
Using the same original picture as above, I moved the logo up. Like how you see now.
Patch Tool
On this guy's blue shirt there was a graphic on it, so I removed it using the patch tool and the brush tool.
Clone Stamp & Healing Brush
There was a tag on the model's jacket, so I used both the clone stamp and healing brush to hide and texture the area where the tag was.
Spot Healing Brush
There was a lot of small specks of dirt all over the little boy's face. To fix that I used the spot healing brush.
Layers, Extension, Retouch, Masking, Refine, Color and Tone
We made a portrait collage, which took so long. In this photo we used all of the tools mentioned before, but I also learned more. I learned how to arrange the layers, extend the background, retouch the center image, masking and refining the mask, and how to adjust the color and tone.
Branding:
I photoshopped this product right here. I learned how to place another photo and how to warp. I learned how to put bottle behind the ocean. I learned how to give it a glow and a shadow, and how to make the bottle transparent. I used the tools from all before, but the new thingI learned was the circle thing at bottom of the layers panel nest to the mask.
I learned how to mask, using black or white with the paintbrush and how to warp this ad on the billboard.
My favorite tool was the warping tool, and I can use it when I need the photo to mold around a model. My weakness is blending as you can see in the portrait example, but I think I did pretty good on the product example. In the portrait I would not change the color to sepia because on the left side of the girl in the center there is still a colored patch that isn't sepia. Everything else will be kept as it is. Overall these tutorial took me a long time and were hard, but it was fun and I actually liked it.
